We are looking for support as a Payroll Specialist (m / f / d) to join our Payroll team in Berlin / Essen as soon as possible.

• Validating personnel master data, absences, attendances, sick leave, reporting, and other payroll-related tasks.
• Preparation and processing of payroll, including subsequent tasks.
• Supporting and advising employees on payroll matters.
• Preparatory payroll accounting.
• Resolving employee cases (Tickets) in Workday (HCM System).
• Communicating with authorities (Insurance, Tax office, foreign office, etc.).
• Preparing certificates.
• Collaborating closely with employees and managers.
• Successfully completed payroll-relevant training.
• Experience in payroll accounting.
• Profound knowledge of social security, taxes, surcharges, etc.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace and MS Office, or willingness to learn.
• Experience with DATEV is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken German.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work on-site.
• Basic knowledge of labor law.
• Motivation and commitment to team development.
