Zusammenfassung

Entrix in Munich seeks an experienced Origination Manager to originate and negotiate offtake agreements with utilities, BESS asset owners and banks. You will work closely with product and sales to translate market insights into offerings and drive bankable energy solutions across Europe.

You will lead end-to-end PPA negotiations, build strong relationships, and contribute to strategic growth in Germany, Poland, Spain and Italy. English fluency is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

As Origination Manager (d/f/m), you will originate and negotiate offtake agreements with offtake partners like utilities, BESS asset owners, investors and financing banks and work closely with our product and sales teams to ensure that market insights flow into our offering.

Your Responsibilities

• Originate new strategic offtake partners front-to-end: from identifying and approaching potential offtakers,through shaping framework agreements, to offer development and to deal closing.
• Lead the negotiation of PPAs and Co-located offtake agreements like Hybrid PPAs and foster long-term relationships.
• Structure offtake solutions tailored to counterparties commercial and financing requirements and understand how lenders assess the bankability of BESS projects so that our structures support project financing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key players across the offtake segment–utilities, trading houses, investment banks, re-insurance and financing banks acting as a trusted partner to ensure counterparty satisfaction and retention.
• Evaluate and prioritize potential counterparties and growth opportunities in our active markets – Germany (core focus), Poland, Spain, and Italy.
• Leverage deep knowledge of energy markets and our product to provide market insights and create data-driven analysis together with our Data Analytics and Product Management team.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to communicate simple to complex commercial structures to internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like sales, product management ,data science, operations and legal to align our offtake offering with market demand and feed market insights back into product development.

Your Profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in origination, PPA sales, energy trading, business development, or a comparable commercial role in the energy sector.
• You have negotiated at least one PPA front-to-end: from first contact through term sheet and contract negotiation to signing.
• Fluent in English is a must.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills: you are outgoing, enjoy connecting with people, and build trust quickly.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of ownership. You confidently take responsibility for driving your own topics forward.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, find new paths, and independently derive insights from complex data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex solutions understandable and convincingly.
• Solid knowledge of European power markets and how they workis a plus.

Skills That Set You Apart

• Experience with PPAs isa must.
• Experience with hybrid PPAs for co-located generation and storage is a strong plus.
• Experience with BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
• Experience with offtake structures such as Tolls, Floors, or Day-Ahead Swaps.
• Understanding of pricing of offtake structures and of trading activities of utilities or energy trading houses.
• Familiarity with how banks assess BESS projects for financing (bankability criteria,debt sizing,contracted vs. merchant revenues, other risk mitigants).
• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software (HubSpot).
