Zusammenfassung

HCLTech in Germany seeks an experienced Oracle DBA (Level 3) to manage high-performance Exadata databases in a global support setting. You will handle RAC environments, Grid Infrastructure, and Dataguard while performing RMAN-based backup/recovery and performance tuning.

The role requires deep Exadata expertise, shell scripting, and ITIL-influenced change management, with English fluent and German a plus. This is a permanent, hybrid position supporting a global delivery model.

Qualifikationen

• 10–12 years of Oracle DBA experience, with 6+ years on Exadata.
• Extensive Exadata experience including RAC, ASM, Dataguard, Infiniband switch, and storage cell.
• Hands-on Exadata health checks, migration, resource management, and patching/upgrades.
• Strong skills in database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and automation scripting.
• Experience on Solaris, Linux, AIX with shell scripting.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based Change/Release Management (ITIL Foundation preferred).
• Fluent in English language and German is a plus.

About the Role
