Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to design, install, and optimize Oracle DB resources for high availability and security within an institutional environment.

You will manage backups, patching, performance tuning, and incident handling, while documenting best practices and maintaining compliance with ITIL processes.

Required hands-on experience with Oracle DB, ITIL 4, and OCI; Bachelor's in IT and professional certifications are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in IT or in progress.
• ITIL 4 training (min 12 hours) and ITIL 4 Foundation or higher.
• Official Oracle Certified Professional certification.
• Linux Fundamentals course (min 20 hours).
• OCI Multicloud Architect Professional course.
• Demonstrable experience in database administration.

Aufgaben

• Design, install, operate and optimize Oracle database resources for high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, operate and optimize the Court's Oracle database resources and solutions, ensuring high availability, integrity, security and performance of institutional data.
• Install, deploy, administer and maintain the set of tools, software and hardware for the organization's Oracle solutions.
• Handle incidents, problems, requests and level-3 changes related to the database environment.
• Perform configurations, changes and optimizations (tuning) to ensure optimal application performance.
• Keep the environment up to date by applying patches and fixes, following change management guidelines.
• Provide specialized technical support in data techniques and tools for system maintenance projects.
• Administer the Oracle environment specifically, maintaining the data object library and ensuring an integrated view of information.
• Specify logical data security criteria and validate logical and physical models with the client.
• Configure and manage backup and restore routines, supporting the proposal of data protection policies.
• Perform continuous analysis of performance and utilization of computing resources.
• Lead the evaluation of new database infrastructure solutions and prepare technical specifications to support institutional analyses.
• Prepare and keep technical documentation and best-practice articles up to date.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Technology (IT).
• Courses and Certifications: ITIL 4 training (minimum 12 hours).
• Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher.
• Official OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) certification.
• Linux Fundamentals course (minimum 20 hours).
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Multicloud Architect Professional course.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrable experience in the database administration specialty.
