OUR GREENERY GmbH in Berlin seeks an experienced operations leader to scale hardware production from prototyping to serial manufacturing. You will bridge product development, manufacturing, suppliers, and quality teams to drive efficiency and reliability.

You will own strategic planning, budgeting, KPI reporting, and supplier management while building a high-performing team. This is a hands-on COO-style role with significant scope to shape our growth, cost strategy, and customer delivery to B2B

To support this next stage, we are looking for an experienced, pragmatic and hands-on Operations Manager.

Tasks

You will play a key role in building and scaling our hardware production. You will be responsible for the interface between product development, manufacturing, suppliers, purchasing, quality, inventory and management.

Your goal is to transform our production from small-series manufacturing into a predictable, efficient and quality-controlled serial production setup. This role is not only about coordination, but also about industrialization, cost optimization, process development, supplier management and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Management & Optimization

• Operational leadership, with a focus on production and supplier management
• Scaling our production from one to multiple locations
• Ensuring high quality and targeting zero down time in our fleet
• Setting up a near to perfect quality control system after production

2. Financial Planning & Management

• Oversight of the financials including budgeting and controlling
• Optimization of purchasing conditions and cost management
• Ensuring financial stability while scaling
• Setup of a clear KPI driven reporting

3. Support Customer Growth

• Improvement of coordination and execution of our services for B2B clients
• Building efficient processes to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

4. Team & Collaboration

• Building and leading a high-performing team across all fields
• Close collaboration with CEO & CTO to achieve strategic goals
• Direct responsibility with decision-making authority at the highest level
• You will work closely with the founding team and management, ensuring short communication paths and fast decision-making.

Requirements

What You Bring

• You have done it before. Experience in operations (COO / Co-Founding a company are welcome) that scaled a business to at least 7-figure revenue
• Experience with physical products and manufacturing them at scale
• Strong expertise in cost management, and operational efficiency
• A highly entrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands-on attitude
• Ability to achieve ambitious goals with limited resources and lean teams
• Passion for sustainable innovation and long-term commitment to the company’s vision
• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead people
• You know how to use various AI tools to increase productivity and strategy

You do not need to know all the answers on Day 1. But you need to know how to find the answers, how to build the system that creates the results we want.
