suena energy is a green tech startup focused on algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewables, based in Hamburg. We are seeking a Trading Operations Manager to monitor trading alerts, coordinate with tech and trading teams, execute manual trades when needed, and improve incident handling and playbooks.

You will join a fast-growing, cross-functional team in a 24/7 on-call cycle, contributing to scalable operations and product improvements in a dynamic energy market.

Qualifikationen

• You have strong situational judgment from high-tempo environments like Trading, Tech Ops, Incident Management, or similar roles.
• You think analytically and in systems, quickly interpreting complex asset and market behavior, spotting anomalies, and making clear priority calls.
• You stay calm and structured under pressure, managing several high-impact incidents in parallel.
• You’re fluent with monitoring and alert-driven tools (e.g., Grafana) and understand simple automation logic, incl. automated trading behavior.
• You communicate clearly and directly, especially in urgent situations, and work smoothly with technical partners and customer contacts.
• You work with precision and ownership, following rules, documenting cleanly, and acting with a service-oriented mindset.
• You learn fast, especially about energy markets, automated strategies, grid basics, and asset performance metrics.
• You operate confidently in German and English (C1) and can join a 24/7 on-call rotation in Hamburg.

Aufgaben

• Monitor trading alerts and dashboards, investigate anomalies, and drive quick, priority-based resolution.
• Coordinate across Tech, Trading, Operations, partners, and customer technical contacts with clear, fast communication.
• Execute manual trades when automation is limited and support new asset onboarding during testing and ramp-up.
• Create and update incident tickets, ensure follow-through, and document actions and outcomes cleanly and reliably.
• Improve playbooks and processes to boost scalability, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Customer Success, Product, and Tech to feed operational insights into product and system improvements.
