Job summary

Interroll Group in Deutschland sucht eine erfahrene Fachkraft für OT/IT-Sicherheit im Fertigungsumfeld. Sie überwachen Installation, Konfiguration und Wartung von Fertigungs-Hardware und -Software, einschließlich PLC/SCADA/HMI/MES, und entwickeln globale Sicherheitsstrategien.

Sie verfügen über tiefgehende OT‑Frameworks-Kenntnisse, MES‑Erfahrung, Zertifizierungen (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001), Englisch und Deutsch auf C1-Niveau sowie Reisebereitschaft.

Qualifications

• Masterabschluss in Elektrotechnik, Elektronik, Automation, Informatik oder vergleichbar.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Industrial IT/OT in einer Fertigung.
• Tiefe Kenntnisse von OT‑Frameworks (SCADA, ICS).
• Erfahrung mit MES und OT‑Integration.
• Zertifizierungen in Cybersecurity (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Englisch und Deutsch mindestens C1; weitere Sprachen vorteilhaft.
• Bereitschaft zu häufiger internationaler Reise.
• Gutes Problemlösen und Priorisieren auch in Hochdrucksituationen.
• Projektmanagement-Erfahrung inkl. Budgetierung und Ressourcensteuerung.

Responsibilities

• In konstantem Austausch mit lokalen IT/OT-Funktionen die Installation, Konfiguration und Wartung von Fertigungs-Hardware und -Software überwachen, einschließlich PLC, SCADA, HMI und MES-Systeme.
• Entwicklung, Einführung und Berücksichtigung einer globalen betrieblichen Sicherheitsstrategie für alle OT‑Assets in den Industrie‑ und Produktionsumgebungen des Unternehmens
• Bewertung aktueller und neuer Anbieter für Ausrüstung, Software und Supportleistungen
• Berichte an Gremien (z. B. Interroll Security Board) über neue und aufkommende Cyberbedrohungen
• Implementierung einheitlicher OT-Technologien, Konfigurationen und Protokolle
• Aufbau eines Netzwerks lokaler OT‑Verantwortlicher zusammen mit MDs/Heads of plants
• Aktive Zusammenarbeit mit zentralen IT‑Funktionen beim nächsten Network‑Segmentation‑Prozess
• Besuche von Produktionsstandorten zur Bewertung von Informationssicherheitsrisiken

Aufgaben

• In constant exchange with local IT/OT functions, oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of manufacturing hardware and software, including PLC, SCADA, HMI and MES systems
• Develop, roll‑out and take account for a global operational security strategy covering all OT assets in the company's industrial and production environments
• Assess current and new vendors for equipment, software and support services in their ability to build and deliver secure OT applications and systems
• Report to governing bodies (e. g. Interroll Security Board) concerning new and emerging cyber threats
• Implement uniform OT technology, configurations and protocols to the degree applicable in order to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance security
• Create a network of local OT responsibles within the production companies together with MDs/Head of plants
• Actively cooperate with central IT functions in the upcoming network segmentation process, increasing OT safety against malware and cyberattacks
• Visit plants conducting assessments concerning information security risks related to software, hardware, third‑party applications

Profil

• Master Degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, automation, computer science or comparable
• Minimum of 5 years' of work experience in the field of industrial automation/IT+OT in a manufacturing environment
• Deep knowledge of OT relevant frameworks (e. g. industrial control systems, SCADA, etc.)
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) as well as integrating OT level with MES
• Certified professional knowledge concerning cybersecurity frameworks (e. g. IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82 and ISO/IEC 27001)
• Min. C1 in English and German, additional languages a strong plus
• Willingness for frequent international travel is required
• High capabilities in problem solving and prioritization, with proven capability of handling high‑pressure situations, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues to prevent equipment downtime
• Experience in managing projects of adequate size, including budgeting and resource allocation as well as experience in vendor management
