Basler AG is seeking a procurement professional for a 12-month replacement in Ahrensburg. Responsibilities include master data maintenance, operational purchasing for samples and prototypes, and managing the travel portal in close collaboration with internal departments.

Starting immediately, Full-time with 40 hours peer week or part time with minimum 30 hour per week, limited to 12 months parental leave temporary replacement

Your responsibilities

• Maintenance of master data (vendors, info records, order books, and material master data)
• Timely, operational purchasing of materials and tools for samples, pilot runs, and prototypes as part of product development
• Management of our travel portal (including serving as the point of contact for inquiries from internal customers)
• Placing and monitoring orders based on existing supplier and price specifications in close coordination with the requesting departments
• Ensuring parts availability
• Tracking and monitoring deadlines
• Responsible for managing missing parts
• Maintaining the contract database in SharePoint (Uploading contracts with their respective expiration dates)
• Assisting with the clarification of technical and commercial details in the course of projects
• Assisting with invoice verification (resolving discrepancies) and complaint handling
• Responding to availability inquiries as part of production control

Your qualifications

• Education: You have completed a business-related apprenticeship and/or hold a college degree.
• SAP Skills: In-depth knowledge, ideally of S/4 HANA.
• In-depth knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and SharePoint; ideally, experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of Jira.
• Understanding of the procurement of services, consumables, IT hardware and software, or tools.
• Basic knowledge of product category management and working with key performance indicators (savings, cost avoidance).
• Professional Experience: At least some initial experience in operational procurement with strategic elements.
• Strong Communication Skills: Enjoy working collaboratively in an agile environment with internal and external partners.

• You have an interest in technology, are motivated to familiarize yourself with new subject areas, and are a quick learner.
