A prominent research institution in Baden-Württemberg is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to evaluate and optimize sustainability impacts of energy storage technologies. The role focuses on life cycle assessments, project collaboration, and stakeholder communication. Candidates should have a Master's degree and a strong background in life cycle assessment and sustainability principles. The research group "Research for Sustainable Energy Technologies" (RESET) conducts research on electrochemical storage systems (particularly Power-to-X and batteries). The post‑doc position within the RESET research group is dedicated to further developing and managing an energy technology field.
You will work in the area of evaluating and optimizing the environmental impacts of energy technologies with a particular focus on long‑term and thermal storage, e.g., hydrogen, synthetic fuels, or liquid metal storage. The following tasks await you:
