Media Specialist (Temp)

As an experienced Media Specialist you will play a key role in driving Sephora’s media strategy across Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland. You will manage our digital media agencies, drive local campaign implementation and ensure best‑in‑class execution across digital out‑of‑home display and mobile.

You will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager DENS and work closely with international stakeholders (HQ Paris) and local cross‑functional teams.

Excellent fit for this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

  • Plan full‑funnel media strategy and execution for local campaigns together with the rest of the local Media team ensuring alignment with global guidelines.
  • Own planning asset delivery and campaign execution for digital out‑of‑home activities ensuring on‑time delivery and brand consistency.
  • Manage performance of display and mobile campaigns optimizing towards KPIs.
  • Manage SEO operations with the agency, monitor rankings and organic traffic and drive measurable improvements in visibility and conversion.
  • Act as key contact for agencies ensuring high‑quality output adherence to timelines and performance against agreed objectives.
  • Monitor media performance, analyze results and create actionable reports with clear recommendations to improve ROI.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all paid channels.
  • Work closely with local social media marketing, CRM and e‑commerce teams to ensure integrated omnichannel campaign execution.
  • Partner with HQ Paris to localise global strategies, provide market feedback and share best practices.

  • Strong media expertise with experience in managing paid campaigns and agency relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative and team‑oriented with a proactive hands‑on attitude.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media, ideally within a media agency or in‑house media role.
  • Proven experience in D‑OOH display and mobile campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital media KPIs reporting and optimisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written).
  • Able to work majority of the time (min. 3 days a week) in the Düsseldorf office.
