Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to support the delivery of major power generation and industrial construction projects across Germany. This position will be responsible for overseeing all civil construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of site engineers, coordinate subcontractors, and act as the primary civil construction representative between the client, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all civil engineering and construction activities on site.
• Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 5-6 civil/site engineering personnel.
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with project schedules, quality requirements, and budget objectives.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and manage civil works including foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, industrial buildings, and infrastructure works.
• Take ownership of site quality management and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Act as the lead civil representative for Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) compliance on site.
• Chair and participate in professional meetings with clients, subcontractors, project management teams and engineering stakeholders
• Identify and resolve technical, logistical, quality and resource-related challenges.
• Produce progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager, Construction Manager, Senior Site Engineer, or Civil Engineer on large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Strong background in power generation, energy infrastructure, heavy industrial, process plant, or EPC projects
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on active construction sites.
• Demonstrable experience within site quality management and EHS responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of foundations, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel, and industrial building construction.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
