A reputable, well-established global private equity firm is seeking a first‑class Office Manager / Business Support Team Manager / Events Manager to perform a varied role: manage the team of Assistants & front‑of‑house receptionists; take responsibility for the firm's events organisation; and ensure the office is running optimally in terms of facilities, processes and supplier relationships.

You should have a background of being a senior‑level Executive Assistant who has taken on team‑lead & office management responsibility. You must have worked for a global firm, ideally within financial or professional services.

THE ROLE

The offices in Frankfurt are incredibly modern and spacious, and the Executive Assistant team experienced and hugely valued. Your duties as Office Manager will be:

  • Ensure the EA team is optimised, allocation is fair, identify training needs and act as a bridge between the Assistant team and investment professionals.
  • Recruit new EAs including training and upskilling
  • Manage the reception team ensuring first‑class customer experience
  • Day‑to‑day office management
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders & suppliers
  • Events and organisation of company off‑sites
  • Be the central point of contact to the London, European & US offices
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • A very empathetic, non‑hierarchical management style is needed, as the team operate fairly self‑sufficiently on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Experience of being a strong Executive Assistant, with some leadership responsibility
  • Background working for a global firm, ideally financial or professional services
  • Great communication skills - fluent German and professional level English essential
  • Proactive and a ‘can do attitude’
  • Emotional intelligence, active listening skills and a warm credible style
