Job Description

In order to treat serious diseases and develop new research products, researchers at Miltenyi work on immuno‑oncology‑related projects that require in-depth analysis of various kinds of NGS data. These data are analyzed and interpreted by the NGS Bioinformatics team. For that purpose, we combine cutting edge research, data science, and artificial intelligence.

Your role

You are part of our NGS Bioinformatics team and will analyze complex next‑generation sequencing (NGS) datasets to extract meaningful biological insights in the context of cancer treatment.

• As part of the NGS Bioinformatics team, you analyze complex next‑generation sequencing (NGS) datasets to extract meaningful biological insights in the context of cancer treatment.
• Perform advanced analysis of high‑content multi‑omic spatial imaging data generated by MACSima technology.
• Collaborate with R&D scientists and software engineers to develop and implement innovative bioinformatics methods tailored to project needs.
• Document, interpret, and present analytical results in English to ensure clarity and alignment with project requirements.
• Build reliable customized and standardized analysis pipelines.

Qualifications

Your profile

• Experience with diverse NGS data types (WES, WTS, scRNAseq, scTCR/BCRseq, bulk TCR/BCRseq, ATACseq, long read sequencing, and more).
• Proficiency in programming (Python, R, Linux shell, etc.) and code documentation.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with R&D and software teams.
• Background knowledge in cell biology, immunology, or cancer biology.
• Experience with multi‑omic spatial data (e.g. MACSima) would be a plus as well as exposure to clinical data.
