Zusammenfassung

mc Group betreibt in Berlin ein News Café mit ca. 20 Sitzplätzen (plus 10 Sitzplätze im Freien im Sommer). Ihre Aufgaben umfassen eigenständige Planung, Organisation und Koordination aller operativen Prozesse des News Cafés.

Sie bereiten täglich 2 Gerichte zu und stellen eine überschaubare Frühstücks-/Snacks-Auswahl für Mitarbeitende und externe Gäste bereit. Zudem unterstützen Sie Marketingmaßnahmen in Zusammenarbeit mit unserer Agentur und arbeiten eng mit dem Empfang zusammen.

Qualifikationen

• Erfahrung als Koch/Chef in einer vergleichbaren Funktion.
• Ausgeprägte hands-on Mentalität und Serviceorientierung.
• Unternehmerisches Denken und Eigeninitiative sind gewünscht.

Aufgaben

• Eigenständige Planung, Organisation und Koordination aller operativen Abläufe im News Café in Berlin.
• Eigenständige Zubereitung von 2 Gerichten täglich sowie eines überschaubaren Frühstücks/Snack-Angebots für Mitarbeitende und Gäste.
• Gezielte Marketingmaßnahmen in Abstimmung mit der Agentur zur externen Bewerbung des News Café.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Empfangsteam, besonders bei Gästebereich, Meetings/Events und Raumplanung.

We are looking for a

News Cafe Barista (m/f/d)

• You are responsible for the success of our News Café in Berlin with approx. 20 seats (plus an attractive outdoor dining area with an additional 10 seats in summer).
• In your varied role, you will independently plan, organize, and coordinate all operational processes.
• You will independently prepare 2 dishes on a daily basis, as well as a manageable breakfast/snack selection for our colleagues and external guests.
• Through targeted marketing measures, you will promote our News Café externally, with support from our agency.
• You will work closely with the reception team, particularly regarding guest reception, planned meetings/events, and room reservations/layout.

Your profile

• For this role, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual with experience as a cook/chef and proven competence in a similar function.
• You bring a strong “hands-on” mentality and pronounced service orientation.
• Knowledge in accounting and promotion, as well as MS Office skills, are required.
• A friendly and well-groomed appearance, along with fluent German and/or English skills, complete your profile.
