MOFFITT CANCER CENTER FACULTY POSITION: NEURO RADIOLOGIST

Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology invites applications for a faculty appointment in the Neuroimaging Division. Our preferred candidate is an academic neuroradiology physician, comfortable with basic spinal procedures. We are a hybrid academic practice affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, with university appointments available. Our faculty serve as core members of the USF Health Department of Radiology Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency programs.

About Our Department:

Moffitt's Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology currently employs 60 clinical faculty, including 9 neuroradiologists. A variety of research and teaching opportunities are available. The Imaging Research program receives approximately $7 million of NIH funding per year and includes 1400 sq. ft. of wet lab space, a full animal imaging suite, and sophisticated image analysis with mathematical modeling capabilities. Dedicated academic time is provided, with PhD-level scientists, and clinical trial coordinators employed by the department to assist clinical faculty in their research efforts.

Diagnostic Imaging Division operates 12 CT, 16 MRI, 7 PET/CT, mobile lung CT, 4 SPECT/CT, 4 Gamma Cameras, along with a robust Radionuclide Therapy Program. Faculty members participate in 17 disease-focused multidisciplinary clinical conferences each week. All Moffitt investigator-initiated clinical trials include a radiologist co-investigator.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is Florida's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Cancer Center includes a large, 3 facility ambulatory care practice, a 110-bed medical oncology hospital, a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, a 128-bed surgical hospital with 19 state-of-the-art operating suites, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.

Requirements:

Applicants must have an M.D./D.O. Degree, a Florida medical license (or eligible), completed fellowship in Radiology sub-specialty area, and board certification in diagnostic radiology with certificate of added qualification in Neuroradiology.

Salary Range

$569,358.40 - $752,749.40

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
