Responsibilities
- Supporting customer projects in the areas of networking, infrastructure, and IT security
- Evaluating and selecting new hardware (e.g., switches, firewalls)
- Contributing to the design of modern network architectures
- Designing and configuring secure network environments for projects in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) sector
- Collaborating closely with system engineers to develop robust network architectures
- Deploying solutions in safety‑critical air traffic environments
Qualifications
- Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration, a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the network field
- Strong understanding of routing and switching, with knowledge of technologies from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and similar vendors
- Passion for developing complex technical solutions
- CCNA‑/CCNP or a comparable certification is a plus
- Confident and professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers
- Good command of written and spoken English
