Job summary

Rodenstock sucht einen erfahrenen Lead Network Architect (m/w/d) in München zur Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung einer sicheren, skalierbaren Netzwerkinfrastruktur. Sie definieren Architekturstandards, Roadmaps und steuern Netzwerkprojekte.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum IT-Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration oder Studium der Informatik.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Netzwerkarchitektur bzw. -design.
• Erfahrung in komplexen Unternehmensnetzen (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN) und Cloud-Konnektivität.
• Kenntnisse zu Segmentierung, Firewalls, Zero Trust, NAC sowie NIS2-Compliance.
• Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch fließend; analytische und kommunikationsstarke Persönlichkeit.

Responsibilities

• Entwicklung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung einer sicheren, skalierbaren Netzwerkarchitektur.
• Definition von Architekturstandards, Zielarchitekturen und technischen Roadmaps.
• Planung, Bewertung und Management von Netzwerkprojekten.
• Technische Aufsicht und Unterstützung von Migrationen und Rollouts.
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Netzwerk- und Sicherheitskonzepten (Segmentierung, Firewalls, Zero Trust, NAC).
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung interner Standards und regulatorischer Anforderungen, einschließlich NIS2.
• Analyse komplexer Netzwerk-Vorfälle und kontinuierliche Optimierung der Infrastruktur.
• Koordination externer Dienstleister und enge Zusammenarbeit mit Security, Cloud, Server- und Application-Teams.

Job description

• Development and continuous enhancement of a secure, scalable, and highly available network architecture
• Definition of architecture standards, target architectures, and technical roadmaps
• Planning, evaluation, and management of network projects
• Technical oversight and support of migrations and rollouts
• Development and implementation of network and security concepts, particularly for segmentation, firewalls, Zero Trust, and Network Access Control
• Ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, including NIS2
• Analysis of complex network incidents and continuous optimization of the infrastructure
• Management of external service providers and close collaboration with Security, Cloud, Server, and Application teams

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a degree in Computer Science
• Several years of professional experience in network architecture or network design
• Expertise in the design, implementation, and continuous development of complex enterprise networks
• Solid knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Remote Access, and Cloud Connectivity; experience with ARUBA in LAN and SD-WAN environments is an advantage
• In-depth understanding of modern network and security architectures
• Experience with network segmentation, firewalls, Zero Trust, and Network Access Control
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards, particularly NIS2
• Business-fluent in German and fluent in English
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Independent, organized, and solution-focused work style
