You will engage him after Kita with playful English activities, reading and conversation in a warm, relaxed setting. The role involves Mon–Fri 5:00–8:00 p.m. with 0–2 years of prior childcare, and a reliable, friendly presence in Neukölln.

We are a family of three: mom, dad, and our son. Our son is very social, outgoing, and loves meeting and interacting with people.

He goes to Kita every day, and we are looking for a native English speaker who can spend 1–2 hours with him after Kita, ideally sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m in the week days. The idea is simply to play, talk, read books, and interact with him naturally in English so that he can gradually start learning the language in a fun and relaxed way.

Both of us speak English very fluently, but at home we intentionally speak Persian with our son. It is important to us that he learns our mother tongue, Farsi, very well and naturally associates speaking Persian with us. For this reason, we would prefer his exposure to English to come from someone else.

We both work in a hybrid setup, so at least one of us will usually be at home during these hours. The babysitter would therefore not be expected to stay alone with our son.
