Aying near Munich family seeks an experienced nanny to join as a part-time helper, four afternoons a week and Wednesday, roughly 20 hours weekly (3:30 pm–8:00 pm, and 1:00 pm–8:00 pm on Wednesdays). You will support older children with homework and prepare for the next day, while lovingly caring for the younger ones and helping with evening routines.
The role requires warmth, patience, and natural authority.
For a warm and lively family in the Munich area, we are looking for an experienced, reliable, and caring nanny to join the family as soon as possible, at the latest by the end of August. The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting the family's daily life and would like to become a valued long-term part of the family.
The family has four children aged 11, 9, 3, and 2 years old. Both parents are working professionals. The mother will start a new position in mid-September and will regularly travel for work. The family is already supported by an au pair and a "Leihoma" (a trusted grandmother figure) every Wednesday. They are now looking for a nanny to complement this support team and lovingly take care of the afternoons and evenings.
Working hours
You will work four afternoons per week, usually from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm (approximately 20 hours per week). The exact weekdays can be discussed and agreed upon together.
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities include supporting the two older children with their homework and school-related matters. Together with the children, you will help prepare everything needed for the following school day.
You will also prepare dinner for the family and lovingly care for the two younger children, accompanying them through their evening routine. In addition, you will support the family with the organisation of everyday family life and contribute to a structured and harmonious daily routine.
A friendly Labrador is also part of the family; however, the dog is mainly cared for by the mother and the aupair.
What we are looking for
You have experience in childcare and interact with children with warmth, patience, and natural authority. You remain calm and organised even in a lively family environment. A valid driver’s licence with confident driving experience is required; having your own car is desirable.
The family is looking for a trustworthy personality who is interested in a long-term part-time position and enjoys taking responsibility. If you would like to lovingly support children and become part of a respectful and appreciative family environment, we look forward to meeting you.
