Job description

A family well known to Little Ones from Munich, Germany is seeking a nanny to look after their 2 children, a toddler and a school aged child on a full time, live in basis. The family is looking for a creative and active nanny with an excellent level of English for the children. The nanny should be educational focussed and able to come up with fun ways to challenge the children. A high level of discretion is required. As there are other people employed, the nanny should be very comfortable working in a team with other members of staff and members of the family. International travel, mainly within Europe is required. This Munich, Germany based family also owns a dog so the nanny should be someone who is pet friendly. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours approximately with flexibility required

Accommodation:

Separate flat provided, a short walk from the family house

Duties include:

• making sure the children are up early from bed,
• washing and dressing them,
• preparing healthy breakfast and snacks,
• feeding them,
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children's physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• arranging age appropriate activities,
• playing with them,
• taking them to various playdates,
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories

The family is looking for a nanny to start as soon as possible.
