Job summary

Telespazio Germany GmbH is seeking a Junior Ground Station Controller to support our 24/7 operations at the Weilheim ground station near Munich. You will operate and configure ground systems, monitor TT&C links and participate in incident handling within rotating shifts.

You will collaborate with international teams, review configuration plans, and assist with in-orbit testing and documentation. Fluency in German and English is required, and basic IT/Networking knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical background in aerospace, communications, IT or a related field.
• Good German and English language skills.
• Ability to work independently within international teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and configure ground station systems in a 24/7 shift.
• Review planning and configuration activities for the ground segment.
• Set up, calibrate and troubleshoot satellite communication links.
• Maintain the operations log and ensure safety and continuity.
• Remotely configure TT&C equipment and perform IOT measurements.
• Operate a User Help Desk and handle user requests.
• Support System Engineers in validating procedures and analysing anomalies.
• Train new colleagues as needed.
