Job Summary

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you help clients navigate their mortgage options. You evaluate clients' financial profiles, recommend appropriate loan solutions, and act as their Mortgage Advisor from initial consultation to closing. Collaboration with underwriters, other team members, Realtors, and third-party service providers is key to delivering timely and efficient service. This position is office-home based and involves engaging clients via Zoom, phone, and email while maintaining detailed records in cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mortgage loan applications to support client demands and business aspirations
• Track and report loan application outcomes
• Assess borrower eligibility by examining financial information and credit profiles
• Team up with underwriters and processors to ensure prompt loan approvals
• Foster transparency through clear communication with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships
• Current NMLS licensing is mandatory
• Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software
• Two or more years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Familiarity with Traditional and Non-QM loan programs
• Well-connected in community and among other financial services professionals
