In your new role, you will be responsible for the further development of quality processes at the Covestro site in Bomlitz. The position develops and maintains quality processes for the production of thermoplastic polyurethane films, meeting internal quality standards and customer requirements. This includes ensuring the effectiveness of the ISO 9001 quality management system and improving quality results through structured problem-solving tools to investigate and address quality problems, issues, and opportunities.

The position is remunerated with salary group E12 according to the federal pay scale agreement for the chemical industry. In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between 5,324 € gross/month and 6,279 € gross/month, plus a variable component, as well as vacation pay and annual performance bonus. The starting salary is based on your qualifications and professional experience.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Further development of the quality management system for ISO 9001:2015 certification, taking into account corporate guidelines
• Identification of improvement opportunities and leadership of continuous improvement teams at the site according to the PDCA principle
• Update of existing quality documentation and development of new documents, monitoring of document control at the site
• Support in conducting internal/external audits and monitoring of audit follow-up results
• Support in defining and monitoring relevant site/regional/global KPIs, conducting data analyses
• Application of statistical analyses to determine process and product capability
• Leadership of training sessions on quality processes and participation in global communities and projects

What you bring to the role:

• A successfully completed degree in a technical field or a technical training with further education as a master craftsman or technician
• Experience in quality management, further training as a QMB is an advantage
• Knowledge of the plastics/polymer industry is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• High level of adaptability, structured thinking, and excellent organizational skills
• A hands-on mentality with a focus on continuous improvement
