Job summary

FrontWell Solutions GmbH is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead strategic implementations of MES and manufacturing IT solutions for life sciences and manufacturing clients. You will collaborate with clients to understand their operational challenges and guide IT projects from concept to delivery.

This role requires deep MES expertise (PharmaSuite, ERP integrations), project lifecycle management, and the ability to mentor junior consultants while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, production engineering or CS.
• 5–7 years IT consulting experience with focus on MES projects.
• Strong knowledge of MES PharmaSuite and ERP integration.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, GAMP 5).

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, assess processes, and formulate IT strategies.
• Translate requirements into actionable IT solutions and guidance.
• Architect and integrate MES products (PharmaSuite) with existing tech.
• Manage project lifecycles, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

Position Overview

As a Senior Consultant at FrontWell Solutions, you will lead the strategic implementation and management of cutting-edge IT solutions within the manufacturing sector. This role involves close collaboration with clients to understand their operational challenges, providing insightful strategies, and leading the execution of IT projects that elevate manufacturing processes. Your extensive experience and technical expertise in MES solutions (PAS-X, Infor etc.) will be crucial in shaping the future of manufacturing IT and delivering outstanding value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, assessing manufacturing processes, identifying improvement areas, and formulating comprehensive IT strategies.
• Translate business requirements into actionable IT solutions, providing technical guidance and leveraging extensive industry and product knowledge.
• Architect and integrate end-to-end solutions involving MES products (PharmaSuite) and ensure compatibility with existing technologies.
• Manage project lifecycles, including planning, deliverable management, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide technical leadership during system implementation, customization, and configuration to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices, incorporating them into service offerings.
• Mentor junior consultants, enhancing their professional development and ensuring project excellence.
• Develop documentation, user guides, training materials, and SOPs for implemented solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in manufacturing IT, represent the company at industry events, and build strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Production Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT consulting, with a significant focus on MES and complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of MES PharmaSuite, ERP systems, and their integration within manufacturing environments.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA regulations, GAMP 5) related to MES implementations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong track record of delivering large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.
• Proven advanced problem-solving capabilities and a strong analytical mindset.
• Client-centric approach with a focus on delivering value and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and other professional duties.
