Overview

We’re partnering with a fast-growing healthcare innovator that is redefining how primary care is delivered in Germany. Combining modern on-site medical practices with digital solutions, the company is on a mission to measurably improve the care of chronically ill patients and it’s scaling quickly.

To support this growth, the business is hiring a (Senior) M&A Manager to join its team (Munich-based, hybrid with 2- 3 days expected in the office). This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of acquisitions across Germany while playing a direct role in transforming the country’s healthcare landscape.

This role is perfect for M&A professionals who not only excel at financial and commercial analysis but also value the human side of deals, building strong relationships with sellers and stakeholders to create lasting partnerships.

About the Role

As (Senior) M&A Manager, you’ll drive the acquisition of successful general practices and medical care centers into the network. You’ll manage the full deal cycle, from first contact through to signing, including negotiation and due diligence, while working closely with internal finance teams and external advisors. You’ll also present opportunities to senior leadership and the board, making this a high-impact role with visibility at the top level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end M&A processes across Germany, from sourcing and first contact to contract signing
  • Conduct negotiations with sellers and build trusted relationships with physicians and intermediaries
  • Collaborate with external advisors on legal, commercial, and financial due diligence, and with internal finance on business case development
  • Prepare and present acquisition opportunities to management and the board
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong track record in M&A (e.g., from consulting, private equity, corporate development, or start-up environments)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — empathetic, persuasive, and able to engage effectively with physicians and stakeholders
  • Highly analytical, structured, and comfortable managing several deals in parallel
  • Motivation to contribute to the development of primary care in Germany; prior healthcare sector experience is not mandatory but advantageous.
  • Fluency in German
