Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an Associate Medical Writer to design and develop high-quality scientific materials for diverse audiences. You will deliver client-ready drafts, ensure technical accuracy, and collaborate with client services, studio and the broader team.

The role requires solid writing skills, a PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent, and 1–3 years in medical writing. You will work across therapy areas and contribute to meetings and events under senior guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and edit materials for varied audiences, including slide decks, digital materials, manuscripts, congress publications, and meeting materials
• Deliver high-quality, client-ready first drafts for scientific review
• Research content, ensure technical accuracy, and critically review and amend work
• Incorporate feedback accurately and consistently
• Complete written materials within allocated project timelines
• Perform data checking in line with BOLD processes
• Keep abreast of scientific developments and share relevant knowledge with internal teams and clients
• Work flexibly across client accounts, deliverables, and therapy areas
• Participate actively in client calls and internal status calls
• Provide on-site or virtual support for meetings and events under senior guidance
• Collaborate with clients, client services, studio, and the wider BOLD team
• Mentor new Associate Medical Writers
• Manage time, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate project updates
• Maintain accurate timesheets and work within allocated hours

Requirements

• Prior experience working within the medical communications industry (or similar)
• Solid writing skills
• Higher degree in a relevant subject (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.)
• 1–3 years of experience in medical writing (preferably within a medical communications agency)
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a passion for creativity
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to research and develop scientific knowledge within a therapy area
• Familiarity with at least one product and leading experts within a specific therapeutic area
• Ability to accurately perform data checking
• Ability to manage allocated hours, maintain 85–90% billability, and complete timesheets accurately and promptly
