Your tasks

• Ensure the maintenance, installation, and commissioning of technical facilities of RTL city, production, and external projects, including broadcast and media equipment systems.
• Ensure the installation and verification operations of new equipment as well as the documentation and training of new users.
• Participate in the design, development, and deployment of broadcast solutions within the media environment and elaborate on the maintenance procedures.
• Ability to rapidly diagnose problems, resolve or provide alternative solutions to maintain production continuity and meet project deadlines.
• Participate to the team’s operations and contribute to the commissioning of the media projects in the EMEA area.

Your profile

• You hold a B. S. in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
• You have 3 to 10 years of experience in the broadcast and media environments or similar positions.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. French, German orLuxembourgish to be considered as an asset.
• Desire to learn and evaluate new technologies, systems, and workflows.
• Good understanding and know how to effectively use design, schematic diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines according to timetables.
• You are a great team player who is also capable to deliver great individual performances.
• Willing to work to a flexible schedule and on-call support of a 24x7x365 broadcast operation.
• Willing to travel to remote project sites.
