Qualificações

• Formal vocational qualification (Ausbildung) in Mechatronics, Precision Machining, or equivalent recognised certification.
• Experience with precision fabrication and interpretation of complex drawings.
• Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and build quality.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacture and modify precision mechanical components using manual and CNC machining centres.
• Execute end-to-end additive manufacturing workflows from preparation to post-processing.
• Perform certified-standard welding and sheet metal fabrication for structural assemblies.
• Integrate mechanical, optical, and laser subsystems; assemble ruggedised electrical harnesses.
• Conduct dimensional inspection and verify tolerances; report manufacturability constraints.
• Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and safety compliance.

We are seeking a skilled and resourceful Prototyping and Integration Technician to undertake the full-cycle fabrication, assembly, and refinement of Counter-UAV prototype systems. Working in close collaboration with engineering teams, you will ensure design intent translates accurately into robust, field-ready hardware. This role requires proficiency in precision machining, structural fabrication, and high-precision system integration. Onsite residency and eligibility for German security clearance are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and modify precision mechanical components using manual and CNC machining centres
• Execute end-to-end additive manufacturing workflows from preparation to post-processing
• Perform certified-standard welding and sheet metal fabrication for structural assemblies
• Integrate mechanical, optical, and laser subsystems; assemble ruggedised electrical harnesses
• Conduct dimensional inspection and tolerance verification; identify and report design-for-manufacturability constraints
• Maintain workshop facilities, calibrated equipment, consumables inventory, and full compliance with safety standards
• Demonstrated proficiency in machining, welding, and precision fabrication
• Competency in interpreting complex mechanical drawings and specifications
• Uncompromising attention to dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, and build quality
• Practical experience working with composite materials
• Experience in precision optical or laser system assembly
• Proficiency in military-grade harness fabrication and high-integrity connector installation
• Composites layup or precision sheet metal forming capability
