Zusammenfassung

Designer Group, a leading international mechanical and electrical provider, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) to contribute to tendering, procurement strategy, and commercial cost control on major international projects. The role emphasizes strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and meticulous cost analysis to support project delivery and client relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Third level degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with crossfunctional personnel.
• Good attention to detail, with an analytical approach and ability to work using your own initiative.

Aufgaben

• Involvement in compilation of tender documents and procurement strategy.
• Prepare tender risk analyses and contract documentation including bill of quantities.
• Run accurate commercial cost control reports and identify committed costs and forecast costs.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and forecast/report as required.
• Assist the Estimation Department with the preparation of estimates.

TheRole

Asa QuantitySurveyoroneofyourmainfocuseswillbeinvolvementincompilationoftenderdocumentsandprocurementstrategy.

YourKeyResponsibilitiesasaSeniorQuantitySurveyor

• Placementofsub-contractordersinconjunctionwithrelevantManager/BuyingDepartment.
• Evaluatethetermsandconditionsofsub-contractors/contractswithemphasisonRisk,Program,Terms&Conditions,DesignResponsibilityetc.
• PrepareTenderRiskAnalysisbasedonstandardformat,Contractdocumentationincludingbillofquantities.
• RunaccurateCommercialCostControlReportsonprojectsensuringreportsclearlyidentifycommittedcosts,forecastcostsformaterials,sub-contractandlabourinadditiontopreliminariesetc.
• Identify,analyseanddevelopresponsestocommercialrisksinconjunctionwiththeCommercialDirector.
• Provideadviceoncontractualclaims–analysingoutcomesandforecastandreportasrequired.
• Toprepareandpresentmonthlycompanyreportsateachprojectand/orbusinessreview,inlinewithcompanyformatsandstandards.
• AssisttheCommercialDirectorinthepreparationofmonthlycommercialreports.
• AssisttheEstimationDepartmentfromtimetotimeonthepreparationofestimates.
• Ensurethatclientrelationshipsareenhancedtomaximizeoncurrentandfutureopportunities.
