The Mechanical Services team supports the successful delivery, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of mission-critical mechanical building services infrastructure across data centre and commercial environments throughout Germany and wider Europe.
The Mechanical Operative (Mechanical Services) will support the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of mechanical building services systems, with a primary focus on data centre cooling infrastructure, chilled water systems and associated HVAC plant. The role comprises approximately 50% new-build project delivery and 50% maintenance activities and reports to the Regional Delivery Lead.

Assist with the installation, maintenance and commissioning of chilled water and HVAC systems within mission-critical data centre environments. Responsibilities include supporting the installation of pumps, valves, pipework, heat exchangers, AHUs, FCUs and associated plant; carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, pressure testing and flushing activities; interpreting technical drawings and documentation; and completing maintenance and quality records. The role requires working safely in both live operational and new-build environments while adhering to all relevant health, safety and quality procedures.
