Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for mechanical components and systems.
• Design and optimize mechanical parts, layouts, and assemblies, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and flow diagrams.
• Prepare part lists, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, including mechanical strength and collision checks.
• Support procurement activities through preparation of technical documentation for quotations, supplier coordination, and purchasing support.
• Conduct and supervise mechanical tests, inspections, and verifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety guidelines, and CE marking requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including project management and production.
• Supervise and support internal and external partners during the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical input for tenders and quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems and CAD software.
• Understanding of CE marking process, including:
  • Application of relevant EU directives and harmonized standards.
  • Preparation of technical files and conformity assessment documentation.
  • Risk assessment and safety analysis in compliance with CE requirements.
  • Collaboration with notified bodies when required.

Alternatively, a Bachelor-level Engineer (but not Master-level) could also be considered for this position.
