Job Description

During your Master thesis, you will develop a data analysis framework to investigate the factors influencing the efficiency of external gear pumps.

You will validate the insights gained and determine causal relationships.

In addition, you will derive optimization measures to increase efficiency, taking into account both technical and economic aspects.

Last but not least, you will present the results at both expert and management levels.

Qualifications
  • Master’s studies in a technical or scientific field, such as Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
  • Experience and knowledge: fluid technology and ideally in data science.
  • Personality and working practice: structured and independent individual with high self‑motivation and an active contribution of own ideas.
  • Enthusiasm for fluid power and the optimization of hydraulic components.
  • Languages: business fluent in German and very good in English.
Additional Information
  • Start: according to prior agreement.
  • Duration: 6 months.
