Reports to the Marketing Director Oncology
The Marketing Manager Oncology takes care of major marketing & communication aspects for Stemline’s current and future products in Oncology within the region DE. He/she is responsible to drive product and disease strategy, prepares promotional and disease educational activities including roll-out, assures the timely and competent provision of product and disease information to the relevant customer groups and builds and maintains a fruitful and successful relationship with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Co-creates and implements the strategic plan to drive commercial success of Stemline’s brands in solid tumors marketed in Germany
- Takes responsibility for planning and implementation of all promotional activities within the marketing mix in accordance with National regulations
- Ensures effective roll-out of marketing campaigns to the field team through cycle briefing meetings
- Closely interacts with the commercial sales team (TAMs) as well as the Medical Team (MedAdvisor & MSLs) to plan the most effective activity mix
- Sets up and maintains of a fruitful partnership with local KOLs relevant for our products
- Plans allocated Marketing budgets and controls spending
- Assimilates and analyses market data/intelligence and incorporates key findings into the disease and product planning process
- Keeps up to date with all new information/data for the Stemline brands and their competitors, utilizes this information to define the competitive advantage for our brands
- Utilization of established digital channels, as well as innovative development and implementation of new digital communication techniques
- Closely collaborates with Global Medical and Marketing colleagues
- Ensures full compliance in all customer engagement efforts according to Stemline's SOPs as well as local laws and regulations
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Product Management / Marketing positions in (biotechnology) pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience working in the area of Oncology and ideally within Orphan indications
- Product launch experience preferred
- Proven interest/expertise in scientific and clinical aspects paired with an entrepreneurial attitude and a tenacious ambition for commercial success
- Ideally education in Life Sciences at Academic level
- Demonstrates belief and passion for the brands
- Excellent communicator and collaborator (internally and externally)
- Open style, pro-active communication
- Highly self-motivated, hands-on and acting independently
- Languages: German (business fluent), English (high level)
