Because every university programme comes to an end at some point, Mirco and Lorenz asked themselves the big question in 2002: Where to go with the meaning of life? The answer: Where they like to be themselves - in their favourite café, their favourite bar or directly on the beach. A kola was needed - as a cultural asset, not as a mass-produced commodity. No sooner said than done, the recipe was developed - not too sweet, but with plenty of caffeine to be able to take a lot of the night with you. For our fritz HQ in Hamburg we are looking for you at the earliest possible date in full time as Marketing Director (m/f/d).

Marketing Director (m/f/d)

As Marketing Director and part of the fritz-kola leadership team, you will be the guardian of the fritz-kola brand. You will lead its strategic development and support the camps regarding their creative development and execution of all marketing activities in the respective countries. With your direct team consisting of Corporate Communication, Insights, Product / Portfolio Management, and Brand Management with an internal creative team you will be overall responsible for building brand equity, driving consumer engagement, and accelerating growth across channels and markets. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in mid-sized structures.

You feel comfortable working closely with the founder and owner of our brand.

What you’ll be doing
  • Shape and drive our marketing strategy as a key lever of our overall company strategy.
  • Team up with your fellow leaders to roll out our company strategy across all functions – always true to our values and spirit.
  • Work closely with our founder and owner to keep the fritz-kola spirit alive at its core.
  • Lead the international brand roll-out with consistency and drive, supported by the fritz-kola brand book and backed by a toolbox that empowers local teams.
  • Take digitalization in communications and marketing strategically to the next level.
  • Oversee Corporate Communications, Insights, Product & Portfolio Management and Brand Management with a team of internal creatives.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a cross-functional marketing team that brings the same energy we pour into every bottle.
  • Always one step ahead: Monitor market trends, decode consumer insights and track the competition to turn data into strategy.
  • Own the base-camp marketing budget and drive efficient, impact-oriented resource allocation.
Your profile
  • Proven (international) experience in senior marketing roles within FMCG is part of your toolkit, ideally from mid-sized or owner-led setups where things move fast.
  • Strategic & creative thinker, with data affinity & hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Thinking big and bold is your default: strategic and creative, with a sharp eye for data and a hands-on mindset.
  • Social media and digital content are familiar territory. If you already have first AI experience, it’s even better.
  • Purpose-driven leadership defines your style: you engage, empower and manage cross-functional teams with confidence.
  • Agile, mid-sized environments are where you thrive.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management are part of how you navigate complexity and build alignment.
  • Fluency in German and English means you’re ready to roll across borders.
