iO associates is currently partnered with a client that is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an international engineering and IT services provider.

In this role, you'll contribute to the development and industrialisation of complex systems, helping to shape sustainable, next-generation machines, plants, and transportation solutions. This is a factory for the future, utilising innovative technology which will help contribute to the sustainability of the industry.

What you'll do:

• Define industrial requirements for manufacturing and repair processes to meet production targets

• Develop product manufacturing structures, material flows, lead times, and build processes

• Design and implement tools, manufacturing, and assembly processes aligned with ergonomic standards

• Support the rollout of digital industrialisation technologies and planning systems in collaboration with R&D

• Maintain close communication with supply chain partners

What you bring:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or similar

• Experience in manufacturing or maintenance of complex transport equipment or machinery

• Knowledge of MAIT processes and production control methods (Kanban, Lean, etc.)

• Hands‑on experience with tools, devices, and measuring instruments

• Familiarity with production and planning systems (PPS)

• CAD skills (Catia, 3DX)

• Strong communication skills in German and English
