Bruker Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics (BMID) sucht einen erfahrenen Strategischen Projektmanager, der Konzeptphasen bis zur Implementierung verantwortet. Sie steuern ein breites Portfolio an Projekten über verschiedene Geschäftsbereiche in Europa und den USA und arbeiten eng mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zusammen.

Der Kandidat verfügt über starke analytische Fähigkeiten, eine unternehmerische Denkweise und ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Betriebswirtschaft oder vergleichbarer Fachrichtung.
• Erfahrung im Diagnostics-Markt sowie Verständnis für Qualitäts- und Regulierungskomplexität wünschenswert.
• Berufserfahrung im Projektmanagement in multinationalem Konzern, Consulting oder VC/Banken-Umfeld.
• Strategische und unternehmerische Denkweise.
• Ausgeprägte analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten im Markt-/Wettbewerbsumfeld.
• Strukturierte, sorgfältige Arbeitsweise, Kreativität und Out-of-the-Box-Denken.
• Internationale Arbeitsumgebung und Teamfähigkeit nachweislich vorhanden.
• Hohe Kommunikationsfähigkeit über alle Hierarchieebenen.
• Bereitschaft zu nationaler und internationaler Reise.
• Idealerweise Wohnsitz in Bremen oder regelmäßiger Büronutzung in Bremen.
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Leitung strategischer Projekte der BMID-Sparte auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene.
• Vollständige Begleitung von Projekten von Konzeption bis Umsetzung.
• Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung von Best-Practice-Tools im Projektmanagement.
• Anleitung und Coaching von Projektteams.
• Pflege des Überblicks über strategische Initiativen und Projektdaten.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Fachbereichen als Business-Partner.
• Koordination externer Dienstleister in Projektteams.
• Vorbereitung von Top-Management-Präsentationen und Moderation von Meetings.

Bruker Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics (BMID) provides advanced solutions for the rapid identification and analysis of microorganisms, supporting both clinical microbiologists and those in industrial and applied microbiology. Their technologies are designed to address the increasing diversity and complexity of microorganisms that infect humans and animals. Recently they have expanded into Molecular Diagnostics and other diagnostics solutions through various acquisitions including ElitechGroup which closed in May 2024.

As BMID is growing in complexity, including a major Post-Merger Integration, the level number of key strategic projects grows. The role of the Strategic Projects Manager will be key in project managing our a broad number of projects from concept to implementation across different Business Areas across Europe and the USA.

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

Management of strategic projects for the BMID Division on a national and international level with a strong End-to-End process view. The tasks include the full scope of project management work (from scope definition to benefit analysis) as well as contribution to the strategy process.

• Manages and supports strategic projects from conception phase to implementation using the appropriate project management and consulting tools and techniques
• Take over responsibility for the delivery of own cross-functional projects
• Develop best practice project management tools; train teams on how to use & introduce new project management software tools (e.g. Asana).
• Inspire project teams with your expertise as well as your skill and competence profile
• Develops and maintains an overview of the strategic initiatives and the resulting “projects pipeline” creating an overview of interdependencies among strategic projects and ensures synchronization of projects to create an end-to-end view.
• Acts as a business partner to the functional areas and supports their project management efforts
• Managing teams of 3rd party providers in project teams

  • Providing market intelligence / competitive intelligence analysis in collaboration with the divisions and business units
  • Coordinating the transfer of strategic initiatives into actionable projects and monitoring their progress

Qualifikationen

• Degree in business administration (Bachelor / Master/ Diploma) or similar specialization
• Experience in Diagnostics market with an appreciation of the Quality and Regulatory complexity would be ideal.
• Professional experience in project management in either a multinational corporation, consulting firm or investment bank / venture capital environment
• Strategic and business-oriented mind-set
