This highly hands-on role supports portfolio companies across Germany, driving restructuring, performance improvement and operational transformation.

You will focus on cash flow, liquidity and financial performance, leveraging strong finance knowledge and direct operational experience.

Qualifikationen

• Strong finance, controlling or financial analysis background.
• Experience in restructuring, turnaround, special situations or performance improvement.
• Hands-on experience working directly within businesses, with focus on cash flow, liquidity and financial performance.
• Experience in consulting, restructuring or private equity.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (Mon-Thu).
• Business fluency in German and English.

• Support on-site restructuring and performance improvement initiatives across portfolio companies.

We are currently supporting a leading international private equity investor specialising in special situations, operational transformation and value creation with the appointment of a Manager / Senior Manager – Finance Transformation.

This is a highly hands‑on opportunity for a finance professional who wants to move beyond traditional advisory work and become directly involved in the transformation and restructuring of portfolio companies..

The Role:

As a Manager / Senior Manager – Finance Transformation, you will work directly with portfolio companies across Germany, supporting businesses through restructuring, performance improvement and operational transformation.

You will have significant exposure to the finance function, with a particular focus on cash flow, liquidity and financial performance.

We are looking for finance professionals who combine strong technical finance knowledge with genuine hands‑on restructuring experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support on‑site restructuring and performance improvement initiatives across portfolio companies
• Take a hands‑on role in cash flow, liquidity visibility and operational cash management
• Prepare financial analyses and contribute to financial and liquidity models
• Support the assessment and implementation of restructuring and business improvement measures
• Support financing initiatives including factoring, asset‑based lending and credit facilities

Must‑Haves:

• Finance: Strong finance, controlling or financial analysis background
• Restructuring: Previous experience in restructuring, turnaround, special situations or performance improvement
• Hands‑on: Proven experience working directly within businesses, particularly around cash flow, liquidity and financial performance
• Consulting / Private Equity: Experience within a leading consulting, restructuring or private equity environment
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week, typically Monday–Thursday
• Languages: Business fluency in German and English
