What will you do?
- Lead and direct a team of packaging engineers and specialists
- Oversee both primary and secondary packaging operations for critical products
- Advance packaging design and innovation
- Ensure exceptional quality standards and maintain regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization
- Interact with customers and stakeholders
- Implement cost‑saving strategies
- Maintain the highest levels of product quality and safety
How will you get here?
- Advanced Degree plus profound experience, or bachelor’s degree plus many years of experience in pharmaceutical/clinical packaging operations or related GMP environment
- Preferred Fields of Study: Packaging Engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Related scientific discipline
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements, quality systems, and regulatory standards
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities for process improvement initiatives
- Advanced communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external customers
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Artios, AutoCAD)
- Proven track record in implementing cost‑saving and efficiency improvements as well as ability to develop and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships
- Experience with change management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive operational excellence
- Strong understanding of packaging processes, materials, and industry requirements
- Ability to work in temperature‑controlled environments when required
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Experience with documentation and SOP compliance in regulated environments and demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
