Manager Labour Law DACH

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager Labour Law to advise and support HR teams across the DACH region. The role focuses on ensuring legal compliance, managing relations with works councils, and providing strategic labour law guidance for transformation and restructuring projects.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for all individual and collective labour law matters in Germany.
  • Ensure compliant implementation of HR and labour-related measures.
  • Advise HR managers and act as a strategic legal partner.
  • Work with works councils on collective agreements, restructurings, and social plans.
  • Support transformation, restructuring, and M&A initiatives.
  • Maintain and harmonise works agreements across the region.
  • Monitor legal developments and advise on implications.
Qualifications
  • Law degree with a focus on labour law and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of German labour law; familiarity with Austrian and Swiss regulations an advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with employee representation and collective bargaining.
  • Proven experience in restructuring or transformation projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience in a corporate environment preferred.
