Döhler is seeking a Manager Group Supply Chain Transformation (m/f/d) to shape and deliver transformation across its global Supply Chain. You will tackle complex challenges, drive initiatives, and work with teams across Planning, Customer Service, Production, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Analytics.

The role is based in Darmstadt, Germany, with occasional travel. You will lead problem diagnosis, design solutions, and implement changes that improve service levels, inventory, cost, and process

As Manager Group Supply Chain Transformation (m/f/d), you will help shape and deliver the transformation agenda across Döhler’s global Supply Chain organization. You will tackle complex business challenges, identify the key drivers of performance, and lead high-impact initiatives from diagnosis and solution design through implementation and sustainable adoption. This is a delivery-focused transformation role, not a PMO or reporting role. You will structure ambiguous problems, develop fact-based recommendations, challenge established practices constructively, and work closely with operational teams to achieve measurable results. You will collaborate with colleagues across Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service, Order Management, Production, Logistics, Business Units, Finance, IT, Data & Analytics, and regional Supply Chain organizations. You will also work closely with the Head of Group Supply Chain and senior stakeholders on key transformation priorities. The position is based in Darmstadt, Germany, and involves very occasional travel.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate the Group Supply Chain strategy into clearly defined transformation initiatives, value cases, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition and root-cause analysis through solution design, implementation, and handover to operational ownership.
• Structure complex business issues, quantify opportunities and risks, and develop fact-based recommendations, target concepts, business cases, and implementation plans.
• Design and implement pragmatic improvements to supply chain processes, operating models, standards, and ways of working.
• Work closely with process owners and operational teams to test, refine, and embed solutions that deliver sustainable results.
• Improve end-to-end supply chain performance, including service levels, planning reliability, inventory, cost, resilience, process maturity, and data quality.
• Define clear roles, interfaces, decision rights, and performance measures to support effective execution and sustainable adoption.
• Facilitate workshops and cross-functional problem-solving sessions to create alignment, resolve issues, and accelerate delivery.
• Support communication, training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to enable adoption of new processes, tools, and practices.
• Monitor progress, risks, adoption barriers, and benefits realization, initiating corrective actions where required.
• Prepare concise analyses, scenario evaluations, recommendations, and decision papers for the Head of Group Supply Chain and relevant management forums.
• Promote continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making while constructively challenging established practices across the global Supply Chain organization.

Your Profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a comparable discipline.
• Initial professional experience in supply chain, operations, business transformation, continuous improvement, consulting, or a comparable analytical and project-based environment.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues, identify key drivers, and translate findings into clear recommendations and actionable solutions.
• Experience contributing to cross-functional projects, transformation initiatives, process improvements, or operational problem-solving activities.
• Ability to develop robust analyses, business cases, presentations, and decision materials for senior stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the interfaces between planning, production, logistics, customer service, commercial functions, and finance.
• A pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach, combined with strong ownership and the drive to move initiatives from concept to measurable implementation.
• Confidence to work with senior stakeholders, facilitate discussions, build alignment, and challenge established practices constructively without formal authority.
• Knowledge of continuous-improvement methods, change management, data analysis, project management, and/or ERP, planning, reporting, or analytics tools is an advantage.
• Business-fluent English; German is an advantage. Experience in Food & Beverage, Ingredients, FMCG, process manufacturing, or an international matrix organization is desirable, as is a willingness to travel occasionally.
