The ideal candidate has a business degree or MBA, at least 5 years in accounting or auditing, Big 4 experience, and strong IFRS know-how. Proficiency in Excel and consolidation tools like LucaNet or SAP BFC is advantageous.

Your Responsibilities

• Group Reporting & Consolidation Lead the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements, disclosure notes, and management reports. Support the monthly and annual consolidation process, including data validation, reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments. Collaborate closely with international subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate reporting package submissions.
• IFRS & Accounting Policies Maintain and update Group Accounting Policies and the Group Accounting Manual. Drive the assessment and implementation of new or revised IFRS standards. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex topics such as revenue recognition, IFRS 16, IFRS 18, impairment testing, and PPA.
• Internal control Design and Maintain the Group internal control framework. Ensure the good implementation of the internal control rules within the Group. Monitor action plans and promote continuous improvement.
• Subsidiary Support & Communication Act as a trusted business partner for local accounting teams regarding IFRS and accounting policy matters. Support the development of training materials and contribute to IFRS workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Audit & External Interfaces Serve as a key contact for external auditors, preparing required documentation and addressing audit inquiries. Coordinate the year-end group audit and manage related deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Group Controlling, operational networks and subsidiaries to ensure consistent accounting treatment across the group and improve the internal control framework.

Your Profile

• Degree from a business school or MBA, ideally with a focus on finance, accounting, or auditing.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong audit background, ideally gained at a Big 4 or another reputable audit firm.
• Proven experience with IFRS, either through audit engagements or preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Experience with group reporting or exposure to consolidation processes (lead responsibility not required).
• Strong technical understanding of IFRS with the motivation to further deepen your expertise.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet, SAP BFC) is an advantage.
• Business-fluent German and English skills.
