Within the Group Strategy team at B. Braun SE, we are seeking to appoint a Manager (f/m/d) Group Strategy for the Melsungen site at the earliest opportunity.
The Group Strategy team is responsible for driving the strategic development of the company on a global level. We analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic initiatives that secure long‑term competitive advantages. In doing so, we work closely with top management and various departments to ensure that strategic decisions are data‑driven and impactful.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive the further development of the group strategy and actively support development of roadmap plans for divisions, regions, and group functions in close alignment with leadership teams and key stakeholders
- Foster technology management to support innovation and strengthen the Group’s competitive edge
- Monitor strategy execution by focusing relevant KPIs, identifying deviations, and initiating targeted corrective actions
- Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives and development of key messages to support the execution of the Group strategy
- Drive strategic portfolio management by evaluating and optimizing the company’s portfolio of businesses, products and investments to support effective resource allocation
- Prepare executive‑level analytics, strategic summaries, board presentations and communications in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Professional Competencies
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Strategy or Corporate Management, Management & Technology or International Business / Strategic Management
- Alternatively, an MBA with a specialization in Strategy, Healthcare or Innovation
- Proven experience in coordinating multi‑year strategic planning processes and ensuring alignment across business divisions, central functions, and regional organisations
- Skilled in strategic portfolio management and tracking goal achievement to enable targeted resource allocation and maximise impact on strategic objectives
- Business‑fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
Personal Competencies
- Strong ability to develop and continuously refine the overarching corporate strategy, taking into account internal and external business environments
- Skilled in strategic portfolio management and tracking goal achievement to enable targeted resource allocation and maximise impact on strategic objectives
- Demonstrate strong assertiveness, decision‑making capabilities and execution skills
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
