The Position

Join our team as a Manager Corporate Brand Management and play a key role in driving the global expansion of our corporate brand. Do you have a deep strategic understanding of brand management and a passion for brand design, are thinking on your feet, and driving change through collaboration? We're excited to invite you to join our team at Boehringer Ingelheim. Your expertise will be key in implementing and operationalizing our corporate brand.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • You will provide strategic counsel and guidance to assess and adopt evolving branding needs, ensuring alignment with Boehringer Ingelheim’s Corporate Brand Identity and brand architecture. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with other functions within Corporate Affairs as well as senior management
  • Your expertise will allow you to actively contribute to the evolution and governance of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Corporate Brand, ensuring it supports current business needs while fostering future growth
  • In addition, you will take an active role in supporting the activation and operationalization of the Corporate Brand Identity. By offering consultancy and building a comprehensive library of brand assets, you will empower the organization to effectively utilize its branding tools
  • A key part of your responsibilities will be to oversee the governance of the Corporate Brand framework and identity. You will monitor and steer its consistent application across all functions, businesses, and geographies to ensure alignment with our global standards
  • Through close collaboration with other teams, you will gather valuable insights and establish feedback loops. These efforts will help inform the organization about the success of its branding activities and enable continuous optimization of the Corporate Brand
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing; alternatively Psychology, Humanities, Social Sciences, or other in connection with several years relevant work experience in a matrixed organization (e.g. in an agency or consultancy)
  • Strong knowledge of brand identity and management topics, including design system approaches, and a profound understanding of applying design tools and/or software
  • Very good knowledge of governance approaches and how to ensure consistency across geographical and functional layers
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills, paired with an innovative and creative mindset with a strong focus on strategic design topics
  • Ability to achieve objectives and deliver results within quality, time, and budget constraints
  • A collaborator who prefers an inclusive approach
  • Natural curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Strong command of English required and a good command of German preferred
