Background
Within UNDP's Bureau for Management Services (BMS), the Office of Human Resources (OHR), is the Management Consulting Team (MCT), which is constituted of a group of management consulting practitioners available on request to support UNDP offices and units worldwide to improve strategic and organizational effectiveness in line with UNDP's Strategic Plan and corporate investments in organizational effectiveness and agility. This group is anchored by a core team of management advisors and consultants based in Bonn, who coordinate and deliver management consulting services globally in a participatory manner
Position Purpose
Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief of the Management Consulting Team (MCT), the Management Data Analyst is expected to contribute to support overall organizational effectiveness by making substantive contributions to MCT advisory engagements with internal and external stakeholders, including country offices and headquarters units. The Management Data Analyst undertakes research, data collection, and data analysis; develops data analysis tools and applications; manages databases and data platforms; supports internal coordination and knowledge management; and participates in all MCT engagements using a client, quality, and results-oriented approach. The Management Data Analyst works in close collaboration with the team members in developing content and in the delivery of organizational effectiveness advisory services.
