Job Summary

Management Accountant – Manufacturing – £38,000 – 45,000

You will support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting, costing, and performance insight within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role with strong operational exposure, playing a key part in supporting business decisions and driving continuous improvement. You’ll get involved in a wide range of tasks, from reconciliations and stock reporting to cost analysis and operational support — ideal if you enjoy variety and want to develop your skills.

What You’ll Do:

You will prepare monthly management accounts with full variance analysis, ensuring accurate reporting across cost centres. You’ll deliver detailed cost and margin analysis across products and customers, manage stock and WIP reconciliations, and support accruals and prepayments. You’ll work closely with operations and procurement to understand cost movements, support pricing and standard costing, and contribute to improving ERP systems and processes. You’ll also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year‑end audit.

• Strong management accounting, costing, and margin analysis skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
