MRK Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and carry out preventative maintenance across assigned properties. The role focuses on keeping grounds and buildings in top condition and completing work orders efficiently.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of maintenance experience, with preference for full-charge residential maintenance experience and certifications such as OSHA, EPA, and HVAC.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• OSHA knowledge preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.
• Must be able to work on-call weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel 10-20% of the time.

At MRK, our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for handling repairs, troubleshooting problems, and performing preventative maintenance across assigned properties. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the quality of the grounds and buildings, with a strong focus on completing work orders in a timely manner.

Key Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance. Also conducts maintenance-related inspections, including building and alarm systems
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces,
• Completes janitorial requirements in accordance with the janitorial schedule
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays-resolving issues
• Patrols property daily to identify areas in need of cleaning and completes required work-remove trash/debris from property grounds and common areas, keep the dumpster area clean, and vacuum, sweep and mop common areas, removes litter and debris from lawns, planting beds, parking areas, sidewalks, ramps, and indoor spaces

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician is preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is preferred
• EPA certification preferred
• HVAC certification preferred
• Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language
• Proficiency in performing plumbing, electric and machinery repair
• Ability to follow direction and work independently in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Must have hand tools
• ANSI approved steel-toe shoes/composite
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must have reliable transportation
• Willing to assist with other properties within the portfolio and surrounding portfolios as needed
• Willing to travel up to 10-20% of the time

Salary Description

$24.00 - $28.25 an hour, plus bonus potential
