ZEISS sucht für die SMT-OM-Abteilung eine/n Mechatroniker/in bzw. Techniker/in für Wartung und Instandhaltung. Sie prüfen, warten und reparieren komplexe Produktions- und Messsysteme, analysieren Störungen und leiten Gegenmaßnahmen ein.

Zudem unterstützen Sie Aufbau, Integration und Inbetriebnahme neuer Anlagen. Sie arbeiten eigenständig, strukturiert und qualitätsorientiert, arbeiten im Team und berücksichtigen Sicherheitsstandards.

Formación

• Abgeschlossene berufliche Ausbildung mit Meister/Technikerabschluss in Maschinenbau/Mechatronik/Elektro.
• Berufserfahrung in mechanischer Instandhaltung oder technischen Service wünschenswert.
• Gute Kenntnisse in Mechanik, Pneumatik/Hydraulik, Zeichnungen & Stücklisten.
• Selbstständige, strukturierte und qualitätsorientierte Arbeitsweise; Teamfähigkeit.

Responsabilidades

• Wartung, Inspektion und Reparatur komplexer Produktions- und Messsysteme; Fehlerursachen analysieren.
• Unterstützung beim Aufbau, der Integration und Inbetriebnahme neuer Maschinen.
• Mit der Inbetriebnahme Rampen unterstützen; Schwachstellen früh identifizieren.
• Dokumentation von Arbeiten, Fehlerbildern und Lösungen; Erstellung von Arbeitsanweisungen.

The Maintenance Management area (SMT-OM) is responsible for maintenance processes of SMT secondary equipment and consolidates all manufacturing-related topics. The setup and integration of equipment into the SMT core competencies-such as optical metrology systems and interferometry-create an optimal interface to R&D. In addition, these assets must be kept in good working order through preventive maintenance and repairs.

Your Role

• Perform mechanical maintenance, inspection, and repair work on complex production, metrology, and assembly systems; analyze mechanical disturbances, systematically isolate root causes, and implement countermeasures.
• Support the setup, integration, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• accompany the ramp-up of Anlagen (systems) and identify technical weaknesses and improvement potential early.
• Carry out repairs, modifications, adjustments, and replacement of mechanical components; participate in preventive maintenance, retrofit, and optimization measures.
• Document completed work, fault patterns, and technical solutions in the designated systems in a traceable manner; create and update work instructions, checklists, and maintenance documentation as needed.
• Coordinate actions with system operators, internal departments, and external service partners.
• Adhere consistently to applicable safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed vocational training leading to the status of state-certified master craftsman or technician (m/f/x) in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification and field.
• Professional experience in mechanical maintenance, mechanical engineering, special purpose machinery, or technical service is advantageous.
• Good knowledge in at least several of the following areas: mechanics and precision mechanics, pneumatics and possibly hydraulics, assembly and adjustment of mechanical subsystems, technical drawings and bill of materials, systematic fault analysis.
• Ideally, experience with complex or automated production equipment.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, and willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to work in required shift models or on-call duties if applicable to the role.
