Tetra Pak in Germany is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to take responsibility for maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment at customer sites. You will work with customers and internal teams to support food safety and operational excellence.

This field-based role requires travel across Germany, with occasional trips to Switzerland and Austria. You will use TPMS tools, follow global procedures, and contribute ideas to improve service delivery while upholding safety and high professional

Qualifikationen

• Qualified technical education in industrial mechanics or mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance or installation experience.
• Knowledge of ice cream techniques and dairy technology is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Advanced German and basic English proficiency.

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak, you’ll take on more responsibility in maintaining and troubleshooting Tetra Pak equipment. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams, gaining valuable experience while helping ensure food safety and operational excellence.

As a part of our Customer Service Operations team, you will be first in the field to maintain food processing and packaging equipment at our customers’ facilities. This role is based in Germany and belongs to Tetra Pak Processing GmbH. As this is a customer-facing position, the successful candidate should be based in the midwestern part of the country.

Profile Description

We believe you have

• A qualified technical education (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or similar)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or installation work
• Knowledge of ice cream techniques and technology as well as dairy technology would be an advantage
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
• Advanced German language skills and basic English skills (written and verbal)
• A customer-focused attitude and a drive to improve
• A growth mindset, indicating a willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• A proactive, safety-first approach
