Build AI solutions that actually make it into production.

What if your next AI engineering role wasn't about building models in isolation but about taking AI into real organisations, solving difficult problems, and seeing your work used in the real world?

We're looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer who can combine strong software and ML engineering with the ability to work directly with clients.

You'll join a small, ambitious AI team working with corporates, Mittelstand businesses, scale-ups, NGOs and public-sector organisations to turn ambitious ideas into working AI products.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both the terminal and the boardroom.

What you'll do

You'll work directly with clients and your engineering squad to take AI projects from an early idea through to a production-ready MVP.

Your work will include:

• Building and orchestrating AI agents to accelerate software and AI development


• Designing and delivering AI proofs of concept and production-ready MVPs


• Developing data pipelines and ML workflows


• Training, deploying and monitoring machine-learning models


• Building and deploying web services and applications in the cloud


• Working with technologies such as Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Azure and modern ML frameworks


• Integrating solutions with existing client systems and infrastructure


• Translating ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions


• Working closely with clients, helping them understand what's possible with modern AI


• Taking ownership of projects and making decisions without waiting for layers of approval

One week you might be turning a messy business problem into an AI prototype. The next, you could be deploying it into a client's production environment.

You won't be handed a playbook. You'll help write it.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years' professional experience building scalable, production-grade software


• Strong Python and SQL skills


• Practical experience with machine learning in production


• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn


• Experience building, deploying and maintaining ML models
  
• Experience with cloud platforms — Azure is preferred


• Experience with web services and applications


• Familiarity with PostgreSQL


• Strong software engineering practices and an instinct for clean, maintainable code

AI-native mindset

We're particularly interested in engineers who are already changing how they work because of AI.

• Running multiple AI coding agents in parallel


• Using tools such as Claude Code or similar agentic development environments


• Designing evaluations to measure whether AI systems actually work


• Giving agents time to work independently while you focus on architecture, review and direction


• Thinking in terms of specifications, evaluation and orchestration, rather than simply writing every line yourself

You don't need to have followed a particular methodology. We're interested in people who are genuinely experimenting with what AI-native engineering can become.
