Job summary

avitea GmbH is seeking a logistics team lead in Germany to drive performance on the warehouse floor. You will lead a team, coordinate with site leadership, and ensure on-time, accurate logistics operations. The role requires hands-on supervision, shift handoffs, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

You will guide new employees, shape processes, and contribute to improvements in quality and efficiency while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in warehouse logistics such as receiving, order picking, staging or shipping.
• Supervise employees, set priorities and assign tasks; foreman or team-leader experience is a plus.
• Good German language skills to ensure smooth work instructions and handoffs.
• Comfortable with digital tools; knowledge of MS Office is a plus.

What you should bring

• Practical experience in warehouse or production logistics, such as in receiving, order picking, staging, or shipping.
• Training as a warehouse logistics specialist or a comparable qualification is a plus, but not required if you have relevant professional experience.
• You should be able to supervise employees, set priorities, and assign tasks clearly; initial experience as a foreman, team leader, or in a comparable role is a plus.
• Good German language skills to ensure that work instructions, shift handoffs, and coordination run smoothly.
• You are comfortable working with digital tools; knowledge of MS Office is a plus.
• Willingness to work early and late shifts, as well as a reliable, solution-oriented, and team-focused approach to work.
